Technology
Plasma Cutter – Plasma is the fourth state of matter outside of solid, liquid, and gas. Plasma results when a gas such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, or shop air is introduced through a torch to an electric arc and extreme heat creating a “plasma jet”. The plasma jet reaches temperatures of 40,000 degrees and is used to cut conductive metals such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. Our plasma cutter is one of our primary tools in the cutting pipe to customer specifications.
